Many people are at least a little familiar with green screen video production. For example, we all know when we see a TV weather person pointing at a weather map, a green screen was used. However, most people don’t understand exactly how the green screen was used. It is possible that you might imagine that the weather map is projected on to a green screen. In this video we show how a green screen is used in a more advanced way.
Green Screen Video Editing
Once we are finished shooting the video then it is time from green screen video editing. Video editing is where we can change everything in the background. For example, during video shooting the person in the video sat on a stool. In the green screen video you can’t see the stool. However, during editing we added a background with a chair. As a result, it looks like our actor is sitting on a chair. Further, we decided to have a computer monitor in the background. Consequently, we can show anything we want on that computer monitor. In this example, we show video of things our actor is speaking about. This would have been very difficult to accomplish without using a green screen.
As you can see, with green screen video production the possibilities are limitless. For instance, in the videos below you can see a different background. Lastly, we settled on the bottom video as our final green screen video production. Be sure to notice all the differences between the two videos. Keep in mind, we only shot one green screen video. Consequently, all of the changes you see were part of green screen video editing. The video was produced so it could be featured on the home page of this website about affordable e-commerce web development.
