Subscription Web Design

A subscription web design is an e-commerce website where people will pay a reoccurring fee. This is also known as a membership web design. In this project we wanted people to be able to do three things online. They can visit the networking group and pay a one-time fee online. Then when they join, they can fill out a detailed application form and pay annual membership dues. They can join the group and then sign up for the subscription so that their credit card will be automatically billed each month. The purpose of the website is to give people enough information that they may be interested in visiting one of the networking events. At the networking event, they may meet some people that could be good referral sources. Consequently, they may be interested in joining the group.

E-commerce Web Design

The e-commerce website was set up so that any payment could be done online which keeps accounting simple. In a subscription web design project, we have to assume that the number of subscribers could become very large. In fact, there could be hundreds or tens of thousands of people. A good membership web design project will be able to keep track of all of the member’s payments. As a result, the website would remind them when it is time to renew. Plus, we have an online application you can fill out to get your merchant account.

The technical parts of the website are worked on by our programmer. At the same time, the overall look of the website is another important consideration. Since the website is intended to appeal to a variety of business people it had to have a very professional look. We purchased stock photos of people chatting at events and used those to make the business referral group look friendly and welcoming. Our designer found stock photos of people of various ethnicities to make everyone feel like they would be welcomed in this group.
