Pest Control Advertising
In this pest control advertising spot, we capture the viewer’s attention right away. This is a key ingredient in all TV advertising. Consequently, if we don’t get the viewer to look and be focused in the first 5-seconds, we’ve lost them. In that case, we are not going to get them to pay attention to the rest of the commercial.
Creative TV Advertising
The two guys with the handmade pest control sign were employees of the owner and they loved the idea of being in the commercial. Normally we advise against using employees, family, and friends in a TV commercial. However, when we went to speak with the owner of the pest control company the two guys kept joking around with us. Additionally, they were very outgoing and hinted that they thought they could be in the commercial and make it fun. As a result, our writer came up with a script and we presented the idea to the owner and he loved it.
We shot the video of the guys in a storage shed at one of their homes. At the end of the 30-second spot, we see the owner of the commercial offering to eat bugs for breakfast. This slogan about eating bugs may sound disgusting but the clients love it. More importantly, the slogan is memorable. From start to finish we capture attention and keep the viewers focused.

As a result of our company being able to offer other advertising services in addition to TV commercial production we also made their website. Consequently, in the TV commercial, we make sure to clearly show the website address and company phone number. This is important because a pest control company doesn’t have a location where customers walk into a retail store. For this reason, it is so important to get the viewer’s attention and hold their attention long enough that they decide to call our client.
