Newspaper Web Design

We made this newspaper web design so that current subscribers could login and get coupons and special offers. A person couldn’t just subscribe and then cancel and still use the website. The website used a script to connect to their database of customers and verify that the subscription was current. If you cancel your subscription then you would not be able to log in to the rewards website. A new subscriber would need to wait for 90-days before they would have access to the website. Any newspaper is likely to have an IT department to deal with technical issues and graphic artists to layout the pages of the newspaper. They typically won’t have someone on staff that can build a website. We created many websites for them including co-branded sites with their university partners. For example, if they wanted to offer a discount for University of Miami alumni and current students we would create a site with both logos and the university would send out a newsletter to all students and alumni directing them to the website so that they could get the alumni discount.

We make the monthly email newsletter shown above, which the newspaper sends out to thousands of subscribers each month. The email goes out as an HTML (text & graphics) e-mail and has links to discounts, events, and coupons on their Rewards website which we developed for them and update monthly. If you are subscriber then you’ve seen our web design work. If someone canceled their subscription then they would get an email that we created with a special offer to subscribe again. Sometimes the offer would be to subscribe for weekend only or Sunday only delivery. Here are some examples of some of the work we have done for the newspaper.
