Logistics Web Design

A logistics web design project will have all of the basic information about what the company does. This project also included an API that allows customers of our client’s logistics company to track the package. As custom programmers, there is nothing we can’t custom develop for our client. However, building a tracking system would be costly and impractical. Consequently, to keep things simple and affordable we used an already existing API. There is a company that has already developed this elaborate tracking program. Their business is that they sell the API or Application Program Interface to their clients. We used custom programming to add the API to the website. As a result, our client has a very sophisticated tracking system like the big companies.

Custom Programming

We began as a custom web design company back in 1995. Today most web design companies only know how to use WordPress. We use WordPress too because for many websites it is the best way to go! For this website, we used ASP.NET because of the API that we had to implement for package tracking. We can handle any custom web development project in any programming language. Typically we decide what platform or programming language we will use based on what the web design project is about. Of course, if a customer requests Drupal, Joomla, WordPress or something else because it is familiar to them then we can certainly do that too!

The owner of the logistics company asked us about having custom polo shirts embroidered and that is a service we offer. He wanted to get the shirts and then have our photographer shoot, actors and actresses, pretending to deliver and receive packages. We could certainly do all of that if money was not an issue but it was. As a result, we thought a better solution would be for us to do some photo editing on stock photos. Consequently, we purchased photos of people making deliveries and added the logo so they appeared to be employees of the company.
