Insurance Company Brochure Design
An insurance company brochure design has to convey a feeling of strength, trust, and security. For instance, everyone is familiar with the TV commercial by the “good hands” insurance company. That is the strength, trust, and security they want you to feel. In this case, our client already had decided on a name for the company. Consequently, they hired us to make their logo and a brochure. Strangely, they wanted the logo to look like a black silhouette of a French poodle. Naturally, we didn’t understand how that type of logo design would help to convey that feeling we were looking for. As a result, we asked them about the dog. At that moment, someone called out “Chester” and a black French poodle came into the conference room.

The company was named after their dog and he came to work with them every day. For that reason, we suggested that this would be an inside joke. Consequently, the public would never get the joke since most of their clients don’t walk into their office. Additionally, we also discussed the “good hands” people and spoke about why they used that imagery. In this case, the client agreed and allowed us to use the tree to represent strength.
Full-Service Advertising Agency
This is one of the benefits of working with a full-service advertising agency. We have marketing people on our team in addition to designers. Consequently, if they hired a graphic artist and requested a black silhouette of a French poodle then that is exactly what they would have gotten. As a result, the public would have been confused by a dog logo. Furthermore, we don’t think it would have helped their business.
We created their logo, brochures, letterhead, and envelopes. The letterhead was unique because the green color you see in the brochure filled the entire back of the letterhead along with the logo.
