Franchise Advertising
The franchise advertising for this client included movie theater advertising, newspaper advertising and direct mail marketing. All of this was directed at the people in his local area. Cinema advertising is similar to TV advertising, you have to immediately get the attention of the audience or they will get distracted. Consequently, we made this 15-second movie theater advertisement look like an old film. This was a result of the streaks in the film and poor quality sound. Next, we created a newspaper ad showing a shirtless man. Presumably, he lost his shirt over the high cost of buying new ink cartridges. Lastly, we set up a direct mail marketing program in which we targeted insurance companies and lawyers. Our client told us lawyers and insurance companies are the two biggest users of ink.
Most clients don’t come to us asking to do movie theater advertising. Conversely, they tell us the amount they want to invest in marketing their business and we come up with a marketing plan. This client was no exception, he told us the investment amount and we developed an advertising campaign custom tailored to his business.
