Direct Mail Marketing
This direct mail marketing piece was a B2B postcard used by our ad agency. Since the general public never needs our services we never run ads that the public sees. For that reason, everything we do to promote our business is Business To Business marketing.
Full-Service Advertising Agency
As the owners of a full-service advertising agency, you might wonder what advertising we prefer for our business. For instance, we know that the response rate for direct mail marketing is very low. Additionally, if we were selling something for just a few dollars then it wouldn’t make any sense. However, if a company wants a new website, brochure, trade show display or TV advertising, then direct mail marketing could work. Additionally, even with our very reasonable prices, our advertising services will still cost more than just a few dollars. For that reason, we were confident that a good postcard design would work for us.
Small Business Marketing
We compiled a list of new businesses and direct mailed this postcard to them. Additionally, we did this mailing only two timesto about 500 business owners each time. Normally we tell our clients that they should never do less than 5,000 postcards at a time because it is more economical. However, we were targeting new businesses so the mailing list was much smaller. Consequently, we only got one lead from the two mailings. However, the good news is that new client hired us to make four websites for different businesses that they owned.
We Only Look Expensive
We felt that it was important to show that some very well known names in South Florida use our agency. At the same time, we didn’t want this to make small business owners think that they can’t afford us. For instance, if the City of Fort Lauderdale hired us then people might assume that we are expensive. For that reason, we added the line that says “We only look expensive!” to reasure them.
