Design Ideas

A law office business card design doesn’t need to be beautiful, it needs to be more serious and professional looking. Conversely, we designed these business cards for a manufacturer of custom cabinetry. Additionally, they already had the EIM logo and a website. However, we also designed a magazine ad and a tri-fold brochure. Consequently, since they already have a website we had to make everything else match. For instance, the color of the business cards had to be the same as the color of the website.

Printing Options

There are several types of printing presses and processes. Additionally, when you want to print cards that are light brown like these cards you have to be careful. For example, you can’t use the less expensive “Gang Printing” method. When Gang Printing is used, many print projects from different customers are all on one sheet of paper. For that reason, the printer can’t adjust the color because any adjustment will have an impact on all the cards. For example, if one person’s business cards looked a little too purple and the printer increases the blue then all the cards would get bluer. As a result, our custom cabinetry business cards would go from brown into a dull olive green.
