A bus wrap is a great way to reach potential clients while they are away from home. However, a billboard sign, partial bus wrap, or full bus wrap needs to have a short message. With a billboard sign cars move past the sign quickly. Consequently, the message on the sign needs to be short. With a big banner on the side of a bus, it is the sign itself that is moving. As a result, the message will again need to be short. Since buses stick to the main roads any sign on the side or back of a bus will be highly visible to thousands of people daily.
Bus Advertising
To make sure many people see the bus, we recommend wrapping at least 10 buses in an area. For example, if a bus passes by a location once an hour people think it is the same bus. Most of the time, different buses pass by the bus stop. Consequently, if you had only one bus wrapped with your ad that bus may go to different stops all day. For instance, that might be the bus that passes by a certain route only at 2:00 pm. If you have 10 buses wrapped then you might see a bus with your ad each time a bus comes to the bus stop.
Frequency is important for all types of advertising. As a result, people need to see your ad over and over before they take action. Another benefit of having 10 buses wrapped in one general area is that your ad will sometimes be on the driver’s side and other times it will be on the passenger side of the bus. On the passenger side, the ad will be viewed by passengers, people on the sidewalk and people in stores along the route. On the driver’s side of the bus, the ad will be more visible to people in traffic.
