We created this retail store web design for a North Miami pawn shop. They will always have new products to add and they won’t want to pay anyone to keep the website current. For that reason, we needed to have some type of CMS or Content Management System. As a result, they would be able to add products at any time without our help. For this reason, we decided to go with a WordPress web design.
Retail Store Web Design
Since people will view the site on mobile devices we made it mobile friendly by using responsive web design. However, the products are not actually being sold online. Therefore, this is not an example of an e-commerce website. As a result, we are just displaying products to get people to come into the store.
WordPress Web Design
Since the website was intended to be used as an online catalog we felt that using WordPress would keep it simple to use. In fact, millions of people in the United States and worldwide know how to use WordPress. Additionally, one of the employees at the pawn shop was familiar with the platform. For that reason, the store employee was able to update the website without any training. Additionally, they took their own photos of all of the products in the store. Next they added them to the website themselves to keep the cost down.
We are also able to provide professional photography and add all of the products to the website. Normally, that is exactly what we do to get it started. Later our client would only have to keep it updated.
