Custom Web Design
We set it up so that it would be easy for people to find exactly what they are looking for. Additionally, they won’t have to go sorting through hundreds of products. For example, by creating categories and subcategories they just go to the category they want. Next, once they found the category of trade show displays they like and then they go to subcategories to see them.
WordPress Web Design
We decided to create this as a WordPress web design because that would make it easy to update. For instance, we may need to remove discontinued products and add new products. Additionally, we have set up pdf files of templates that can be viewed or downloaded. For example, you would only need to click on a trade show display you like.
Robust Programming
If we needed more robust programming we would have used ASP.NET instead. Consequently, when we use ASP.NET then we build the entire backend with custom programming. This is where the client would log in to make changes and updates to their website. In this case, that wasn’t necessary. In fact, a little bit of custom programming in WordPress allowed us to have exactly what we needed. However, with ASP.NET custom web development there are no limits. For instance, on other websites, we have built customized newsletter functions. As a result, emails can be sent to groups of people directly from the website. Another example is a fully customized website that calculated commissions due to salespeople on multi-level sales.
