Custom Logo Design
This custom logo design was made for a group of firefighters. They were in the process of producing a TV show. We asked how and where the logo would be used. Obviously, the logo would be seen on TV and they also wanted to sell t-shirts. Additionally, they considered other products with the logo. For that reason, we decided that the logo would need to be bigger to fill the TV screen and the front of a t-shirt. We asked the client if “Florian” was the fire chief. As a result, we were informed that Saint Florian was the patron saint for firefighters. Additionally, he was the patron saint of chimney sweeps too but that wasn’t important for the TV show or logo.
What is a Good Logo
Normally in a custom logo design for any type of business, we like to keep the logo vague and open to interpretation. However, this logo which was to be used on a t-shirt we needed to be big and bold. For that reason, it seemed like the flames had to be there. In the design, the blotchy gray background willl make the t-shirt look a little worn.
Advertising Services
For our ad agency this was one of those rare cases in which someone wanted a logo and no other advertising services. Their plan was to shoot a pilot program to show to the networks. Consequently, if a network wanted to see the next episode then they’d make a deal with that network. Additionally, until the pilot program episode got sold to a network there was nothing else they needed from us.
