Audio Visual Branding

We created all of the audio visual branding you see here for a company based in Chicago. Things would have been very different if they hired a graphic artist. For example, a graphic artist waits for your instruction and does what you ask. With a full service advertising agency, it’s our job to come up with all of the creative ideas. Consequently, we decide what the company needs and present our ideas as part of a cohesive marketing package. Years ago we made their logo, designed their business cards, letterhead, envelopes, and website. It began as a one-time project and once those projects were completed they went about the business. Consequently, they were successful in selling audiovisual services to clients all around the country. The AV company gets hired for conferences, meetings and other events all around the world. As time went by they had great success and ran into a roadblock. This is common for many businesses. Consequently, they reach a certain point in their success and they are unable to get past that point. As a result, we developed custom strategies to help them to get to the next level with their business.

Take Your Audio Visual Business to the Next Level

audio visual branding companyWe developed a plan to get our client certified to issue continuing education credits to potential clients. For instance, people with the CMP or Certified Meeting Planner designation. These CMP’s were their best customers and we wanted to become their friends in the audio visual business. We organized an event at our client’s warehouse. Then we only have to get their customers to walk in the door. We knew that if we could get potential customers to walk in then all we had to do was to be nice to them. Consequently, they’d like us and ask us to bid on upcoming events. Offering the potential customers free continuing education credits that they always paid for elsewhere worked!

Audio Visual Company Marketing

Consequently, it made a lasting impression on them. We structured the entire event from the moment the people drove up to the parking lot. For example, they were greeted by employees. All employees were told that they were to make absolutely no attempt to sell. As a result, the potential clients felt that we really were their friends in the business. Our goal was to have them think of our client for future meetings and conferences. We did not want them feel any sales pressure at the event.

Selling AV Clients Without Pressure

Consequently, we knew the potential customers would be surprised by this approach. Team members were waiting at the front desk to escort the guests towards the restrooms first. After that stop, they would guide them through the warehouse. In the warehouse, they would get their name tags which had the company logo. We would then hand them a bag containing promotional products with the company logo. The bag also contained a brochure about the company. Our company created everything the guest saw that had the company logo.

audio visual brandingOur company contacted a local law firm that did a lot of work for meeting planners. Next, we told the owner of the law firm that our company would be producing an event. We told the owner we would be inviting meeting planners to attend the event. The lawyer was told that we would invite people using social media, by direct mail, and by calling them. We told the owner of the law firm that we’d like him to speak on venue contract negotiation at no charge. As a result, he would have the opportunity to meet about 50 new potential clients. The lawyers agreed to put on a 45-60 minute presentation on the topic we suggested. We produced a PowerPoint presentation on the topic. As a result of our client being is in the audio visual business they were able to project it on a huge screen in the warehouse.

Audio Visual Marketing Plan

audio visual brandingMaybe the work we did went beyond audio visual branding and it was actually more of an audio visual marketing plan. The project did begin as audio visual branding when we made their logo, website, brochures, truck signs and everything else. Later it was becoming an audio visual marketing plan when we developed the idea to invite potential customers into their warehouse. Our company did everything to make it simple for our client. Consequently, our client only had to be there that day, smile at the guests and be nice to them. We even conducted a quick class on how to start conversations with the guests. Our company arranged for furniture rental, catering, and guest speaker. Our team also created all of the event marketing. We designed postcards and mailed them to meeting planners that we found on LinkedIN. We created social media programs on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook to promote the event.

Audio Visual Branding

We wanted the promotional products to be useful and fun if possible. As a result, the pen, notepad and key chain with a light are all useful. For fun we included a yo-yo that lights up when you use it. The guests loved the yo-yo and many asked for extras for their children.

audio visual branding companyWhen you add up everything that we did with catering, furniture rentals and goodie bags we spent about $75 per person. When just one guest becomes a new customer of an audio visual company their first project could easily be worth $50,000.00 or $100,000.00 or more. Consequently, our $75.00 per person investment was pretty smart and new clients were obtained from events like this. If a new customer stays with an audio visual company for 5 years, 10 years or 20 years as many have, each of these new clients can be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
